I’m Larry (she/they), a proud Black, Queer, femme Midwesterner, storyteller, doula, and lover of all things abortion. For as long as I can remember, writing has been my space to be honest, reflective, and creative. A way to process my grief, examine the world around me, and put my feelings into context. My work has been featured in Essence, Teen Vogue, ELLE, The Nation, Cosmopolitan, and more, and I’ve had the honor of appearing on platforms like NPR and BBC News to talk about the things that matter most to me: reproductive justice, pop culture, and the messy, beautiful experiences that make us human.

This blog is a long-overdue space for me to share unfiltered thoughts on everything from politics to pop culture to my own joys and struggles. When I’m not writing or sharing my takes, you can find me spending time with my cat, laughing with my friends, floating in bodies of water (I’m a Cancer through and through), cooking, hosting, traveling the world, or curating the perfect vibe whether that’s through playlists, conversation, or a well-rolled spliff.
